Ma chi è?

Paolo Maggi nasce a Bari il 22 ottobre 1964 e vive ad Altamura fino alla maturità scientifica. Sin da bambino disegna a mano libera (con forte propensione alla vignetta ed al fumetto) e comincia a suonare il pianoforte (fondamentalmente ad orecchio). Nel 1984 va a Roma per studiare grafica pubblicitaria (IED) nel 1988; nel gennaio 1989 si trasferisce a Bologna, dove tuttora risiede. Qui si diploma in pittura all’Accademia di Belle Arti nella classe di Daniele Degli Angeli. Durante questi anni fra mostre, concerti e progetti di vario tipo, si impegna a seguire in parallelo i due ambiti artistici, con i risultati che si potranno giudicare visitando il sito. Who is?

Paolo Maggi was born in Bari on 22 October 1964 and lived in Altamura until his scientific high school diploma. Since he was a child he drew freehand (with a strong propensity for cartoons and comics) and began to play the piano (basically by ear). In 1984 he went to Rome to study advertising graphics (IED) in 1988; in January 1989 he moved to Bologna, where he still lives. Here he graduated in painting at the Academy of Fine Arts in the class of Daniele Degli Angeli. During these years, between exhibitions, concerts and projects of various types, he is committed to following the two artistic fields in parallel, with the results that can be judged by visiting the site.
